His love of nature defined him.
It was contagious.
Everyone who walked with him in the woods
became a nature advocate.

Ned Fritz Legacy & Texas Buckeye Trail at First Unitarian Connection Sunday

Ned Fritz Legacy & Texas Buckeye Trail at First Unitarian Connection Sunday

September 16, 2025 Uncategorized

Kristi Kerr Leonard and Amy Martin were warmly received at Connection Sunday at First Unitarian Church of Dallas, where Ned and Genie were members for many years. Groups at the church were invited to set up tables and introduce themselves to the congregation. Our table celebrated both the Ned Fritz Legacy, with a display board redesigned by Scooter Smith, and the Ned & Genie Fritz Texas Buckeye Trail Restoration. We signed up many new interested folks! Everyone was so kind.

Connections made, laughter shared.
Old friends found.
He said Ned changed the trajectory of his life for the better.
Fabulous new display board.
New volunteers signed up.
