Eileen McKee, one of Ned and Genie’s daughters, drops by for the project’s first interview. She is so gracious, relaxed, and charming. We chat mainly about family life and their many fun nature vacations. Every excursion was a chance for Ned to quiz the girls about their nature knowledge. The magical yard on Cochran Chapel and the wild area on the back side of the creek, accessible only in dry periods, and the huge pecans that provided so much fun. Ah, stories, just what the website needs.
