 Ned and Genie Fritz Texas Buckeye Trail Restoration

The Texas Buckeye walks in March are just a month away. We need to get the trails ready for 75+ walkers!

— Feb. 22 Sat. —
Arrival time 9:45 ~ Work begins 10 am ~ Ends at 12:30 pm
Rain date: March 1 Sat.

Gather at 7000 Bexar St. Dallas Texas 75215, across from Bonton Farms.
If the cul-de-sac is full, park along Bexar St. or at the Headstart facility two blocks up Bexar.

On the agenda:
<> Forge a trail through Eileen’s Glen past the best buckeyes.
<> Try to rescue some buckeyes that the top of Ned the bur oak fell on.
<> Mark some parts of the trail.
<> LIberate more Texas buckeyes along the trail between Eileen’s Glen and Ned from privet.

Charlie needs help with the pollinator gardens at the trail entrance. Message us to be connected to him.

Optional lunch after at The Market Cafe at Bonton Farms.
